At Hijra Relief USA, we are driven by a deep sense of compassion and a commitment to making a difference. The founders of our organization are proud to hail from East African descent, with personal histories shaped by the hardships of displacement and war.

Growing up in environments where their families faced loss, survival struggles, and displacement, they understand the harsh realities that many children in East Africa still endure today.

Our families were once displaced due to the ravages of war, but today, we stand fortunate, with a desire to give back to those who are still facing unimaginable
